The Roamers is a chapter of the Kings of the Road RV Club. We are centrally located in Oklahoma. But we also have members that live in Kansas, Missouri, Texas and California. We have 9 camp outs a year and a Christmas dinner meeting. The Wagon Master makes reservations for Friday and Saturdays but most of the Roamers will arrive as early as Monday or Tuesday for the camp out.
Our meetings consists of the three F’s: FUN, FOOD, and FELLOWSHIP, not necessarily in that order. We usually go out to eat at a local restaurant on Friday evening and have a pot luck dinner on Saturday.Our Wagon Master may also plan a tour or activity for the week. We always have plenty of time to maintain and update our friendships.
Our site committee tries to locate our camp out locations in different parts of Oklahoma [with some in neighboring states] so we can decrease the traveling distance for some of those in the far parts of our area.
